As part of the Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (Veolia WTS) policy and processes, the Territory Manager is responsible for developing and executing on a business strategy to deliver profitable growth for Veolia WTS in the SA, WA and NT markets leading a team comprising of Account Managers, Growth Leaders and Field Service Engineers.

What you’ll be responsible for

 

  • Develop new innovative strategic growth plans and sales campaigns.
  • Deliver on KPI’s and profitable growth through the currency of innovation.
  • Display risk-taking, creativity & innovation to ensure achievement of strategic growth plan.
  • Motivate and lead a team to deliver on account management excellence and service excellence pillars and measure customer satisfaction through the NPS process.
  • Coach and mentor the sales team, lead from the front & create a unified sales culture.
  • Lead a culture of ethics, quality and EHS.
  • P&L leadership of territory with astute focus on business profitability.

 

What you’ll need to be successful

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, or Science.
  • Ability to travel as the operations demand.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience preferably selling and/or marketing complex solutions and/or technical sales in the Water Treatment industry with at least 5 years in direct people management role.
  • Strong past track record of leading diverse teams to commercial success in complex market situations.
  • Ability to effectively lead people and operate in a matrix organisation.
  • Proven analytical skill set and strategic mindset with strong competence in value proposition analysis and market maps.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrates a keen understanding of basic business operations and organisational levers (systems, processes, departments, functions) that drive profitable growth.
