JOB PURPOSE
As per the development strategy of VWTS Engineering dept, he/she will be in charge to cover the position of Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer; he/she will report directly to the Europe EIA Discipline Leader who will fix the target, the activities and the projects to be involved.
The E&I Engineer will provide technical support for Electrical and Instrumentation project execution relevant to the Water treatment business line.
In parallel, he/she will join our 12 Month Graduate Program that will challenge and enrich his/her learning to develop their skills, knowledge and confidence.
The role will be filled in one of the following locations in Europe: Hungary, Spain or potentially in France or Italy
MAIN TASKS
- Collaborate with a diverse team of experts from around the globe to design and implement innovative electrical, instrumentation, and automation solutions for water treatment projects across the EU and beyond
- Dive into the heart of international projects aimed at preserving our planet’s precious resources and creating a greener, more sustainable future for generations to come.
- Contribute your fresh perspective and creative ideas to multidisciplinary teams working on cutting-edge initiatives that push the boundaries of environmental stewardship
- Support the preparation and review engineering studies, design drawings and documents, material and equipment specifications, test procedure/ITP.
- Immerse yourself in the dynamic international work environment, where every day presents new challenges and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
- Support installation and operations conformity to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings.
- Resolve specialty related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes and standards.
- Check engineering documentation coming from outsourced engineering companies.
- Write reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
- Assist the preparation of specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
- Evaluate technical bids and follow up different vendors.
- Maintain and respect the engineering documentation schedule.
- Engage in hands-on learning experiences during site visits, inspections, and commissioning activities, gaining invaluable insights from seasoned professionals in the field.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a strong academic record reflecting your dedication to excellence.
- Passion for environmental sustainability and a genuine desire to contribute to the global effort to combat climate change through innovative engineering solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness, enabling you to thrive in an international team environment with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
- Eagerness to learn and grow professionally, with a proactive attitude towards seeking out new challenges and seizing opportunities for advancement.
- Basic knowledge of EU regulations and international standards related to electrical and automation systems, with a willingness to further develop your expertise in this area.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for electrical design, coupled with a willingness to adapt and learn new technologies as needed.
- Previous internships or project experience in a related field is advantageous but not mandatory, as we prioritize potential and passion over prior experience.
- Familiarity with ATEX, EMC, Low Voltage Electrical Equipment directives, Machine directive, SIL standards and their application.
- English is mandatory, French/Spanish as a second language is a plus.
- Place of job position Milan, Madrid, Budapest (with partial home office possible).
- Availability to mission abroad is mandatory.
