JOB PURPOSE
As per the development strategy of SWTS Engineering, he/she will be in charge to cover the position of Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer; he/she will report directly to the Europe EI&C Discipline Leader who will fix the target, the activities and the projects to be involved.
The E&I Engineer will provide technical, project management and functional responsibility for Electrical and Instrumentation project execution.
MAIN RESPONSABILILITIES
- To prepare and review engineering studies, design drawings and documents, material and equipment specifications, technical bid evaluation, test procedure/ITP.
- Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
- Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings.
- Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support or testing activities.
- To resolve specialty related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes and standards.
- To check engineering documentation coming from outsourced engineering companies.
- Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
- Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
- To evaluate technically bids from different vendors.
- To follow up technically each vendor.
- To maintain and respect the engineering documentation schedule.
- Lead technical discussion with customer; Customer focal point, ensuring client satisfaction / requirements are addressed or met.
- Participate in multi-functional and cross departmental engineering and design reviews.
- Continuous improvement of our current documentation.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Electrical Engineering Degree with 5+ years of working experience as E&I engineering.
- Knowledge of the process basis elements relevant to the water treatments plant.
- Thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures and specifications.
- Capability to carry out documentation for project execution.
- Significant experience in multiple industries e.g. Oil and Gas, Refining, Chemical, Pharmaceutical is preferred.
- Experience of brownfield sites including turnarounds, shutdowns and commissioning.
- Familiarity with ATEX, EMC, Low Voltage Electrical Equipment directives, Machine directive, SIL standards and their application.
- Previous experience in UF/MBR/RO technologies within the water industry is a preference.
- Up to date knowledge / experience of Electrical and package equipment including low voltage equipment and UPS systems.
- Knowledge of electrical tools, methodologies, or equal training / experience.
- Previous experience contract with worldwide recognized main EPC contractors is a plus.
- Experience to manage outsourced Engineering Service Providers.
- Experience to manage and work with foreigner Engineering production Center, similar to InSourCE in Bangalore (India) is a plus.
- English is mandatory, French/Russia is a plus.
- Place of job position Spain or Budapest’ office (home office possible).
- Availability to mission abroad is mandatory.
