Role Summary/Purpose
The Field Service Engineer SES BNL is a professional service provider in the hydrocarbon and petrochemical industry, focusing on chemical process water treatments. She or he provides on-site services at our major accounts in the Rotterdam - Antwerp axis. |
Essential responsibilities
The following activities are a guideline; others can be part of the job scope:

Perform on-site chemical testing and program follow-up

Customer reporting/Data processing with the use of our InSight platform

First line trouble shooting for Cooling, Boiler, Water & Waste and Industrial process treatment applications

Frequent review of agreed Key Performance Indicators with the customer in close cooperation with the Account Manager

Execute Site Surveys, Equipment Start up and Commissioning
-
Management of Repairs/Maintenance/warrantee
-
Retain strong verbal and written contact with different levels within the customers organization

Minor assembly operations, as required
-
Project coordination
-
Support costing of contracts.

Follow and conduct technical trainings
-
Fulfill Piloting and Field trials when required
-
Participate in the local team meetings to share best practices
-
Comply with integrity and safety as required by Veolia and customers policies
-
Manage differentiating sales initiatives and execute our strategy
-
Report all work-related accidents, diseases, dangerous occurrences, near misses, incidents and damage to property.

Good knowledge of local language & English is required

Competence with windows office software, Google Tools and Veolia IT tools is a must

Experience and/or interest in process and water treatment is a plus

What do you offer?
• A B.Sc. or higher degree with a Chemical background.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, both verbal and written
• High competence with windows office software and Google tools (especially MS Excel/Google Sheets)
• Possession of driving license is required
