Senior Project Manager

The Opportunity: 

Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions is seeking a Senior Projects Manager to join our execution team in Mt Waverley, 3149. As the Senior Projects Manager, you will be responsible for managing the portfolio of projects in the APAC region.

What you’ll be responsible for: 

• Client interface, contract and schedule management for the business’ portfolio of projects in energy transition, and industrial water and gas treatment. 
• Responsibility for coordinating the “triangle” of Project Management, Procurement and Engineering leaders and their teams to deliver projects in line with scope, budget and schedule commitments. 
• Forecasting of project performance to realise revenue and profit, at all times ensuring that projects are run in accordance with Veolia WTS management systems. 
• Provide strategic guidance on bidding and execution of projects in Australia and overseas.

What you’ll need to be successful:

Reporting to the General Manager, you will provide motivating and collaborative leadership in our execution and management team as well as:

• Have 15 years project management experience, in energy, process or infrastructure industries. 
• Be culturally astute, with excellent verbal and written communication skills to manage customer partnerships and internal teams to achieve project objectives. 
• Have demonstrated commercial and contractual management skills for projects 5 to 50 MUSD in value.   
• Degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical/Process or Mechanical.
• Experience in process technology and/or equipment businesses.
