Role Summary / Purpose


The Water Technologies & Solutions (WTS) Products and Standards (P&S) Team is a team
located throughout Europe providing VEOLIA Product Support to the VEOLIA WTS organization,
including, executing Product ITR projects from Inquiry through to Remittance (ITR).


This graduate role will be developing skills on Ultrafiltration Cloud Design Tools, process review
and project management to lead Product ITR opportunities from technical solution development
stage, through to execution, and on to project completion. Focused on driving profitable growth
while balancing risk across the entire VEOLIA Products portfolio in Europe, Middle East and Africa
(EMEA) with a focus on Submerged Ultrafiltration (SUF). This role will work closely with all teams
(Product Management, Sales, Service etc) involved in the sales cycle. Key metrics will focus on
hit rate, on-time proposals submittal and meeting operational plan for orders and margin,
execution targets on budget and within schedule.

The role will have two streams to it:

  •  50% Core: Owning SUF Product water treatment opportunities across EMEA from Inquiry
    to completion. Leading P&S transversal projects incorporating SUF and other technologies
    developing solutions and proposals. Supporting other areas of business with standard
    product support.
  • 50% Projects: Participation in the Graduate program and P&S Continual improvement
    themed projects aimed at improving customer experience, standardisation of products and
    business operations.


A clear training plan will be provided and the graduate will spend time in various teams (other
technology teams/Sales/Service etc) to learn skills to assist the role.

 

Responsibilities:
The aim of the graduate entry is that by the end of the 12 month program to be fully capable of:
Products and Standard Support

  • Support all areas of WTS business with expertise in standard systems product knowledge.
  • Develop winning solutions, support and training tailored for the requirements of individual
    areas of the WTS business.

ITR

  • Own and guide the ITR product opportunities process from inquiry to project completion
    adhering to the VEOLIA ITR playbook throughout. Owning, and guiding each step of the
    process to completion. Focusing on all projects that incorporate multiple technologies.
  • Working with both team members and other teams to guide completion and seek solutions
    as required. Manage workload and priorities to meet customer, sales and management
    targets.
  • Executing project post order according to plan and within budget aiming for margin and
    timeframe improvements.

General

  • Developing knowledge of Water Treatment Technologies and Processes.
  • Developing knowledge of VEOLIA equipment, technology, competitors and markets for
    each of our product lines.
  • Ensuring compliance with the VEOLIA WTS Quality Management System (QMS) and
    development of a strong Health & Safety compliant mindset in all activities.
  • Providing concise and timely reports, updating reports to management team and
    participating in all team rhythms
  • At all times work in a way that demonstrates the Company’s business methods and ethics.
  • To listen to and relay market intelligence.
  • Maintain high standards in terms of personal appearance conduct and respect of
    Company property.

Education

  • Degree in science discipline
  • Ability to work independently to drive projects to
    completion with minimal oversight.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to
    speak effectively before groups and customers, clients,
    and other employees of organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills..
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel locally and internationally up to 10%.
  • Driving licence.
  • Computer proficiency with Google Sheets, Docs and
    Chat or similar.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written)
  • EU work permit

Desirable: Masters in science discipline

 

Skills & Experience (desirable)

  • Experience in water treatment industry
  • Ability to work withmultidisciplinary teams.
