Job Summary:
Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions is searching for recent graduates or students to join our team
for a 4-16 month internship. This internship presents a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience,
work on real-world projects, and collaborate with experts in water treatment, engineering and related
fields. Interns will be actively engaged in projects that contribute to the development of sustainable
water treatment solutions.

Key Characteristics:

Duties & Responsibilities 
● Collaborate with experienced professionals to support projects related to water treatment
processes, chemical engineering, and environmental solutions.
● Participate in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to aid in project development,
performance evaluation, and regulatory compliance.
● Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and documentation for
internal teams.
● Engage in cross-functional teamwork, sharing insights, and proposing innovative solutions to
address challenges.
● Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and industry standards throughout all project
phases.
● Ability and willingness to work in a range of environments including heavy industrial facilities,
light manufacturing facilities and commercial and institutional properties.
● The company will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in Canada for this
opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a
background investigation.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 
Preferred:
● Demonstrated ability to communicate with those you work with
● Strong troubleshooting skills - ability to analyze and resolve problems
● Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office and Google suite of applications. 

Education & Experience
Required
● Enrolled in or a recent graduate of a technical diploma or BSc degree - for example Chemistry, or
Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering,
● Ability and willingness to travel within assigned geography, with an estimated travel of 20-60%
● Valid driver’s license

Working Conditions:
● 20-60%% travel; typically weekdays
● Work frequently in a heavy industrial environment requiring use of Personal Safety Equipment
and exposure to noise, dust, chemicals and other similar irritants typical of those found in
refinery, chemical plants, power plants, etc., as required
