As a Dispatchable - Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing commissioning, operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for customers in a variety of locations. About the role:
Essential Project Installation/Commissioning/REHAB Responsibilities
 

  • Safely and successfully provide technical direction and inspections for rebuild projects and extended scope projects, including chemical dosing, clarification and dissolved air flotation, primarily in North America.

  • Verify that installation is as per Veolia's drawings.

  • Commission equipment: this includes mixers, valves, air compressors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation.

  • Assist clients with optimizing clarifiers and DAFs.

  • Complete detailed controls testing to ensure the system is functioning as per design.

  • Assist client with initial plant operation.

  • Train client operators on plant operation.

  • Meet with the client and Veolia to communicate schedule and address issues as necessary.

  • Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance

  • Install/Replace and/or supervise the replacement of proposed equipment.

  • Install, monitor, maintain and calibrate chemical injection systems.

  • Carry out process, mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation

  • Create and maintain site paperwork and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed.

About You:
This is a service role and you’ll bring your positive attitude to work with you every day because making other people happy makes you happy. To be successful in this role you should have the following:

  • High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent and 2+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment

  • Technical Degree in Science/Engineering or technical certificate.

  • Water/Wastewater Treatment Experience

  • Ability to travel extensively

  • Ability to gain and maintain access to sites as assigned

  • Valid Driver’s License
