The Data & Analytics Leader will be responsible for defining the strategy and roadmap for data science and advanced analytics for the global WTS business.  He/she will lead the technology development and data enablement teams and support the growth of our analytics-based service product portfolios.

As a Data & Analytics Leader / Senior Staff Technical Program Manager, your responsibilities will include:


  • Managing and growing a high-performance applied R&D team that is motivated and dedicated to deliver cutting-edge applied machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies in the industry.
  • Identifying the key strategic areas for technology development that enables new products and services in the industry. 
  • Operationalizing model development and build a strong data foundation that covers data engineering and DataOps practices.
  • Enabling an agile development process and hybrid modeling framework by seamlessly integrating physics and data-driven approaches.
  • Staying vigilant on evolving trends in digital technologies and platforms – explore means to validate and integrate with the innovative business models.
  • Providing thought leadership and upskilling opportunities for the broader data & analytics community. 


Core Requirements:

  •  Masters in Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Science, or Machine Learning with minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • Good experience in modeling, simulation and AIML techniques. Experience working with cross-functional teams in global organization.
  • Developing project proposals and experience in managing and delivering critical projects.
  • Builds, maintains, and improves the existing business intelligence and analytics tools across the department and across the business. 
  • Leads measurement framework development and defines the business KPIs alongside senior data scientist and analytics teams.


Other Useful Skills & Abilities: 

  • Basic understanding of cloud computing and experience in developing models in Python, R, Matlab etc.
  • Familiarity in the core services, technologies and standard design patterns of the AWS ecosystem in the areas of: IOT, Data, and Microservices.
  • Hands on experience of data management, data integrations, and cloud technologies including AWS solutions. Experience in various types of data sources and domain wide data storage solutions.
  • Conceptualize, design, and deliver high-quality solutions and insightful analysis on a variety of projects ranging in both complexity and scope.
  • Demonstrate experience in business process analysis, data architecture design and development as well as the implementation of workflow enabled solutions.
