The Global Commercial Operations Sr Manager for the Chemical and Monitoring Solutions (CMS) business shall lead and coordinate a team of high performing commercial operations professionals.  The focus of this team will be to enable the Sales and Service teams across the world to profitably manage operations and execution risk to deliver value for our customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

Risk Management

  • Ensure that we can execute contracts profitably by managing risk associated with Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), Performance Guarantees, Scope, Costs, etc., particularly for multi-region projects
  • Ensure that we manage risks and execution per our Delegation of Authority (DOA); DOA Ownership & Documentation including Salesforce.com Deal Management tools
  • Ensure accurate costing is done for complex and/or large deals particularly Key Account deals and deals that are not managed using our commercial tools (SFDC, iDeal, etc.).
  • Ensure KYC process is rigorously followed for new account set up including Salesforce.com NBS process

 

Contract Management/Tools and Templates

 

  • Develop and maintain Framework Agreements, standard Terms and Conditions, Proposal and Costing templates
  • Lead contract management including terms and conditions negotiations, contract drafting and consultation with legal/contracts team as needed.
  • Lead contract documentation drafting, review, and T&C negotiation for Key Accounts
  • Act as the Commercial clearing house by providing support for critical documentation such as insurance certificates, lien waivers, etc.

 

Indirect/Channel Management (regional specific)

  • Support regional Channel Sales Manager/Channel sales team with Channel Partner onboarding and renewal including compliance due diligence and liaison with legal and compliance teams over contract terms

 

Hard Skills

  • 10+ years of experience working in Snaplogic architecture, experience in HR Applications like Successfactors/ Kronos/ ADP Payroll (Architecture and Development), with hands on experience on the platforms
  • Awareness regional business customs and practice and ability to work with this in compliance with corporate governance standards
  • Proven analytical skill set and strategic mindset with strong competence in value proposition analysis and market maps
  • Strong external focus, with ability to assess customer value of performance, price, operating & maintenance costs, availability and operability
  • Knowledgeable of general Water industry trends and competitor product and service offerings
  • Understanding of financial terminology and able to interpret financial statements
  • Must be a motivated self-starter and independent worker with a desire to lead through action

Education & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce or Science
  • 10+ years of experience in the water industry

Working Conditions:

  • Annual Travel at 25% of time
