Job Summary

Verify and keep records on incoming shipments. Duties include receiving, unpacking, verifying, and updating inventory of incoming materials in SAP.

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages.
• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.  
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses.
• Rotate stock based on FIFO method.
• Cover chemical operator lab supply duties as needed.
• This list is not all-inclusive and may include other duties as assigned and necessary for the operation and management of the site.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Required:

• Willing and able to drive a fork truck and pass certification.
• Willing to work with hazardous chemicals.
• Attention to detail and strong math skills.
• Strong computer skills.

Preferred (if applicable):

• Experience working with SAP.
